Jul 08, 2016· Conveyor belts are designed to carry material with little amounts of trampling from the tail to the head end. When v(t) = v is constant, material flows along the conveyor belt like a constant speed wave (vanDelft 2010). Thus, according to Strauss, the one-dimensional transport equation in describes the flow of material on the belt.
